Safety precautions:

Please take note of the following:

  • Make sure your cylinder cannot fall or topple and is upright at all times

  • Do not let children or untrained persons tamper with your cylinder

  • Do not hang clothes or dusters on your cylinder or any oxygen equipment

  • Close your cylinder valve (on/off) knob when not in use.

Oxygen will help fires to burn more fiercely.
Ensure that your oxygen cylinders
are kept away from fires, cookers
and heaters, etc.

Never use oil or grease to lubricate oxygen valves or taps.
If your equipment requires attention, please contact
your Oxy-Gen service provider.

If you use an oxygen concentrator, remember that the
machine purifies air from the surroundings, but if you use
it near heaters or fires, fumes may not be completely removed.

Turn off the supply when not in use. When using your oxygen do not leave your mask or canula in your lap or lying on the bed or chair for
any length of time. Oxygen may build up in the material and make it more flammable.

Do not smoke. Smoking will aggravate your condition and is
dangerous when using oxygen. Oxygen is highly flammable.
